Uninterrupted Sustained Silent Reading is an important part of all English classes at Claremont Secondary.  The English department firmly believes that in order for people to become good readers, they must read.  The more you read, the better you get.  Reading is a life long skill and the Claremont English Department thinks that it is important that every student is given time to develop this important skill.
